A Relationship With Our Creator

A Relationship With Our Creator

“In the beginning God created the heavens and the earth. The earth was without form and void, and darkness was upon the face of the deep; and the Spirit of God was moving over the face of the waters.”

Genesis 1:1-2

As a family, we love to go camping in the summer!

One of our favorite things to do is spend time around the campfire, roast marshmallows and make s’mores with graham crackers, marshmallows and chocolate bars.

Our second favorite thing to do while camping is to look up at the night sky and gaze upon the stars to find some of the constellations. If you try to count the stars, it doesn’t take long to see that they’re too numerous to count. You may even realize that you only can see a tiny amount of the vast sky that our Creator made!

Out of darkness, God created the heavens and the earth. The Spirit of God took a formless earth and gave it a form and a purpose. God wasn’t done there – He created light, day and night, all the plants, animals, birds and fish, and then He created Adam and Eve.

God designed us to be in a good and right relationship with Him and with all of Creation.

May we always take time to appreciate this amazing and beautiful world that God created for us. And may we make time to continually get closer to God and experience in our heart of hearts the wonderful love and grace of our Creator through his Son, Jesus.

Amen
